“New York values, the people of New York, there is no place like it in the world,” she said, throwing back the phrase Cruz first used to slam rival Republican Trump.

Clinton’s pop-up appearance came a day after Cruz’s visit — where he was accompanied by the borough president’s father, right-leaning Democratic state Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr.

Cruz sought Wednesday to frame his initial remarks as opposing liberal Democrats, not all New Yorkers.

“The people of New York know what those values are, the values of liberal Democratic politicians like Andrew Cuomo, like Anthony Weiner, like Eliot Spitzer, like Charlie Rangel, all of whom Donald Trump has supported,” Cruz said.

Touting her role as New York senator for eight years, Clinton continued her Cruz statement by saying “I’m going to take those experiences — take those values — to the White House if the people of New York give me that great privilege.”........................

1. There are bad people everywhere. A lot of the bad folks in Texas are Ted Cruz

supporters. If I were going to point out bad values in NY, I would focus on the Big Banksters and CEOs -- the folks who robbed us, almost drove the world economy into a death spiral, and are now donating lots of cash to the Cruz and Clinton campaigns. They give that cash to political campaigns with expectations. And, in the political world, an honest politician is one that when bought, stay bought.
