Months ago we said this primary is about pragmatism vs idealism

The pragmatists support Hillary and the idealists support Bernie.

It is a fundamental difference in seeing problems and solutions.

Bernie says that people have to rise up and demand solutions and that is what will bring about change. He can't say how he will break up big banks or what size they should be. He speaks in the language of ideals.

Hillary is wonkish. She studies a problem and develops a solution given the current state of affairs.
She contrasted her way with Bernie's and said he doesn't do his homework.

I think the next debate will highlight the idealism vs pragmatism fight.

The next primaries wins will depend on who makes up the largest voting block, idealists or pragmatists.

You said it not me.

Edit: OP modified typo I was referring to to wonkish. I thought the original version was rather appropriate.

5. Is it pragmatic to lose things we have fought hard for, or to bargain from a weak position?

This is what I see New Dems doing, because they really don't care for or take care of the working class or middle class. As has been substantiated in recent articles and books, the real "base" of the New Dems are the corporations and the professional elite that lead them.

If only all those who are somewhere in the working class or middle class could see that voting for Hillary is just accepting a poor bargaining position for what we want and what we need, and that she and the mass media and Democratic Establishment will do ANYTHING to try to maintain this bad status quo, that would be a great day of waking up.

see things through different paradigms.

If pragmatism wins idealists will have to deal with it. If idealism wins then the opposite is true. The future will tell how things turn out.

Bernie speaks in the language of truth.

Hillary can't even say she won't lie.
