So she's accomplished a lot. BFD. So has Bernie. She started it in the first place by calling him unqualified; evidently part of her new scorched-earth policy. If you say Bernie is being rude and harsh, what about when Hillary does the same damn thing? It's politics. Lawyer in private practice, elected to the Pennsylvania legislature, then to the U.S. House; chairman of the Judiciary Committee, appointed ambassador to Russia; elected to the U.S. Senate and reelected twice; appointed Secretary of State; then ambassador to Britain; finally President of the United States.

The owner of that awesome resume was James Buchanan, generally considered to have been one of the two or three worst presidents.

He was succeeded by a guy who had been a small-town postmaster and surveyor; served four terms in the Illinois legislature and one term in the U.S. House; practiced law for another 12 years, then was elected President.

That was Abraham Lincoln.

No apology from Bernie necessary. He didn't instigate this "round". His statement and all the backlash she's getting on social media is her own doing.

PS: It hasn't hurt him with me ... an over-50 woman who's been a Democratic voter since age 18. If anything, I'm glad to see him finally calling her out directly on her record. I don't think she's qualified to be President based on her previous track record regarding her judgment.

But I am getting tired of the passive-aggressive tactics of the Clinton campaign. Their latest thing is to criticize Sanders, then get all victimized when there is a response. "We never said he was unfit to be president. We only said he didn't think about things and had no plans. How can the Bernie campaign tell such awful, horrible lies about us?" See how well this works against Trump or Cruz. If Clinton wants voters to believe she has been everywhere, done everything, withstood all the criticism, etc. she might want to stop this stuff about, "Oh, help! Help! He's being mean to me. Someone make him stop!"

Why is it okay for her...but if he gives it back and with REASONS, like Iraq War vote, trade bills, etc. it will hurt him with women? He needs to apologize? Stunning. Hillary started it, and if she can't take that, she should get out. Maybe the pressure of being under investigation is getting to her, and I surely could understand that.

Maybe she shouldn't be running and taking ALL OF US along with her on that ride??????????????? For the good of the country....blah blah...

If people don't like it, they'll let him know. Same applies for Hillary.

Most of the time pols parse words to make an argument against a candidate, other times the candidate goes a little overboard - this late in the race we're going to see more of the latter. Who cares. Ballots will determine if people like said "overboard".

If candidates are going to be equal (and I know from experience, they are), then they shouldn't have their little minions come to their rescue whenever it is "felt" (e.g., the media announces) that somehow they have insulted each other.

I find this ludicrous and if anyone needs to apologize, it is the political parties themselves for causing the kind of candidates to emerge who use the media. What a fucking circus this is becoming.
