Bernie should not have said that...But Clinton always brings out the ugly

I am not a happy camper with either of them.

Clinton dragged out the mud buckets and started tossing it around. Alas, Bernie took the bait and started throwing back.

If this is how Clinton wants to win, well to hell with her.

God, this country drives me crazy sometimes.

Clinton: Let me put it this way, Joe. I think that what he has been saying about the core issues in his whole campaign doesn’t seem to be rooted in an understanding of either the law or the practical ways you get something done. I will leave it to the voters to decide who of us can do the job that the country needs, who can do all aspects of the job, both on the economic domestic issues and on national security and foreign policy."

The Clintonian way... let someone else say, back them up and then claim "I didn't say it".

A lot people died. A lot more watched their lives turn into a hell on earth. Life or death choices. There have to be consequences for these decisions or otherwise the Democratic Party is no better than the other party.

Hillary is the one that started playing tough.

Sanders is just letting her know that if she wants to play 'hard ball' in NY then let's do it and see where this goes.

Will this kind of campaign win her NY? Maybe, but at a serious cost, losing any chance at all of having any Bernie supporters left around for the GE.

I'm betting within a day or two Hillary will be back to stealing planks from Sanders platform and hoping her delegate lead holds out on its own.

Their instincts are going to be "oh, good, another Trump sideshow", except this time they will be giving Bernie the free media time so he can make rational, well framed arguments.

Wed Apr 6, 2016, 11:02 PM

and one pol has been a gentleman and the other vows to destroy you and say you are not qualified, you have to expect this.

In the real world of politics, if he did not do this, aka bring the big Mo out of retirement and aim guns. he would be done. Why? He is weak. That was a miscalculation from team Hillary. She did the same exact shit in 2008, and Obama responded... and she tried the victim card. The fact they decided to go there, tells me their NY internals are not good.

For the record, watch what was done to Dukakis, and Gore and Kerry. Which will explain to you why he had to do this.

I hate these kinds of politics, but when you play with fire... this is what sometimes happens. And for the record, this is ready made for NY politics. The HRC supporters miss this, but New Yorkers love a scrapper. In a more perfect political system... this would not be happening.

I hope this makes some sense to you, But what the HRC was trying was this...

And she was not expecting the weak independent from VT to hit back. Because quite frankly, the way I read the HRC campaign, they thought they could ignore Bernie and he would go away... months later he is actually threatening her nomination and it is her turn damn it! By the way, the root canal is looking far more tempting by the minute.

We might disagree on how to respond, but he absolutely had to. Myself, as I said, I hate these dirty politics... I really do... the root canal is better sounding. But I fully get it. Also you are missing something else. Obama had to keep his cool because in this country you cannot ever, afford to be portrayed as the angry one. Never, ever.

That dynamic is not present here.

For the record, since we do run photos of African Americans, we are damn careful not to activate the angry black man in the readers minds. This means I shoot a lot of pictures. We also almost never run photos of people in county blues.
