You really think the GOP controlled Congress will pass this and that 3/4 of the states will ratify before the end of the year.

I want a president who will not ratify the TPP, who will not carry on drone warfare around the world, who will not continue to carry out regime change operations in foreign countries ... for starters.

Not to mention it's just a dangerous precedent. The next time we get a horrible president like W and we could get stuck for 3 terms...NO THANKS!! Frankly I believe there should be term limits for all offices. Power corrupts.

Assuming it would ever pass, which it wouldn't, Obama would be in his seventies by the time it became effective. It takes years and years to pass a constitutional amendment. Anyhow, several thousand have been proposed and only 23 actually were enacted. And I don't want him to have a third term regardless if it means more crappy trade deals.

is ...he is a Muslim and he is a dictator and he is a Marxist and he is the anti Christ who wants Sharia law ...and he will state an emergency to be a third term President ...so I suspect it was one of those people who started this petition.

The general population here has "moved on".
Which is strangely where this petition is located and as such seems strangely oxymoronic.

As if 8 were not enough? Lets put an end to the possibility of allowing any one person to hold that much power for a continuous 12 years.
