Washington (CNN)The daughter of the Sandy Hook Elementary School principal who was killed at Newtown wrote "shame on you, @BernieSanders" Tuesday after he told The New York Daily News he would not have supported the victims suing the gun manufacturers.
"Shame on you, @BernieSanders try living one hour of our lives. Love, the #SandyHook Principal's Daughter," Erica Smegielski tweeted Tuesday night.

passed and Bernie supported it. The four Democrats who did not are the ones
to call out here.

They are hurting and they deserve to have their voices heard, rather that told to be quiet as indicated in the first response on this thread. Clearly that first response was attempting to sway the conversation by implying they do not deserve a voice during elections. But we need to remember, those families have been speaking out for a very long time. Well before Bernie announced his bid for the White House.
