Denise C. ?@HawaiiDelilah 10h10 hours agoSanders' campaign manager Weaver has audacity to tell Clinton not to destroy the Democratic Party. My irony meter is exploding.
David Chalian @DavidChalian
Weaver to Team Clinton: "Dont destroy the Democratic Party to satisfy the Secretarys ambition to become President of the United States."

(6,346 posts)The Democratic Primary has officially been a positive issues-based campaign. Hillary officially promises to change that now.

(4,451 posts)His supporters do not deny it. It shows a lot about his character and his INTENTIONS. Running as a Dem so he could get exposure, only to do everything you can to tear it down. While he is tearing it down he plans on playing the victim! That rich.

(1,630 posts)and had the same reaction. For a campaign that has a platform that actually includes trashing Democrats his comment is a stunning example of projection.
Of course, what is really going on is fear that HRC will come after Sanders in the same ways he has been attacking her. And, that will hurt him badly. Especially since his image is based on him being pure and pristine which he is decidedly not. The hypocrisy has been a wonder to behold and is not fooling the Dems one bit. That is why Hillary is winning with them and Sanders cannot even get an endorsement. They are laughing at Weaver's comment.
Hillary and Dems (and Republicans, for that matter) have held their fire on the particulars of vetting St. Bernie, but she is letting them know that she isn't going to tolerate the constant attacks on her character unanswered. Weaver hopes that by hiding behind the skirts of the Party he has been trashing, he can avoid the incoming.

In his defense, I think he was talked into it, but it is not good strategy.

(4,451 posts)Bernie Sanders' deceitful intentions. His supporters don't want to play fair, they want to cheat their way to the White House because they think they know what is right for the world and they are the only ones with the right answer. What does that say? They're no better than the Tea Party and should be treated as such.
