so government has no part of it, so everything, and I mean everything is privatized including charity, then why not roll that charity into a package where the philanthropists get payback by buying the politicians that do them best?

OK, maybe that kind of deal comes with small headaches. Like black sites and torture, and an unending series of wars for profit that slaughter over a million and send millions more fleeing as refugees. But that isn't happening on the US watch. None of this is the US's fault, and the Saudi arms deals were lucrative indeed.
