Is the Clinton Campaign really aiming for a Pyrrhic Victory?

With her campaign now vowing scorched earth against Bernie Sanders, and to 'unify the party later,' are they out of their political minds or what is happening?

There is no way this is the strategy of a confident winner with an insurmountable lead, or this is the ravings of a campaign manager turned lunatic.

If she adopts this strategy she may yet claim the nomination, but mark my words, the Democrats will be doomed come GE time. This is a strategy with about the most short term egotistical methodology under the sun.

I'd at least not pull a dumb super-villain and reveal my evil plans. XD

She does not seem to understand that Bernie's appeal is in part a protest against her candidacy. She does not get the fact that people are not happy with the status quo.

His slogan of "Not me, Us," is fitting.

The Clintons have been selling out the American public for over 30 years. Why would she put the welfare of the general public above her own ambitions now?

Lets face it they work, and Hillary can deny it.

Scotched Earth will merely swell the ranks. Even if they win they would only make Sanders a martyr. St. Bernie of the Left.

they have planned trying to link Sandy Hook to Bernie.

But I'm guessing none of the Hillary followers will decry that ridiculous dishonesty.

I've told my friends all along that Sanders needs two things to win: he needs to run a good race and Clinton needs to run a bad race. Both those things are happening.

Her smart move would have been to basically hug Sanders to death by saying that she'd seen the light, she'd realized the voters were angry and wanted drastic change, and she was going to give it to them. If she did that, he would have been sunk.

Clinton flirted with that for a while, but she's such a moderate/centrist by nature that she couldn't keep it going. Thank God. She's playing right into Sanders' hands with this new strategy, as Obama's chief strategist David Axelrod said on TV tonight.

The party was, previously, poised to make great gains, but the Clinton family could dramatically undermine its vitality. She got too cocky thinking she would have a coronation and face off with Trump,

Now even if she wins it will be a brutal slog, destroy the party and she will face off against like the True Zodiac, whom is still weak but nowhere near the nightmare fuel of a Trump white house.
