Today the message from Brock-O'Keefe attacking Bernie Sanders is based on out-of-context quotes taken from an interview with the NY Daily News. You can red the full interview here:

It's no surprise they are taking this line of smear today. Let's review the week for Hillary:
1. She pulled out of Wisconsin early after getting no support and drawing fewer people to her rallies than her husband could. Let's be honest... Things look not so good for her and she's lost the last 6 of 7 contests to date. Also Bernie has polled better than her in National polls for the first time.
2. She's scheduled for an interview by the FBI to formally question her in the context of the Federal Investigation OF HER. Let's not forget she tried to dismiss this by saying the FBI hasn't contacted her yet. Now that's fucking desperate.
3. The Panama Papers broke in a YUGE way and now it turns out that trade agreements she pushed as Secretary of State enabled the tax haven and money laundry conditions that allowed for such corruption! Just not good enough Hillary!!!
4. What's worse, UBS is involved in the Panama Papers and one of the first things Hillary did as Secretary of State was to negotiate a deal with UBS to reveal 4000+ names out of 52,000 to mitigate a major international legal battle between the IRS and the Swiss. What about the other 47,000 names of the 1%ers who hid their money with UBS?!?
So it should be no wonder, when it comes to tackling too big to fail banks, Hillary would do nothing, so what Is the best way to take attention away from your own corruption?! Attack your opponent with a Rovian smear on the very same issue. This is no different than Bish going after Kerry's war record! Hillary and her fans should be ASHAMED!!

This is part of the overall GOP conspiracy

They went with the email part of the story when the Benghazi part didnt work.

(55,981 posts)And not a bad post at that. Kinda funny tho that you want to blame the GOP for noticing she used her personal email server. But then I bet you blame whistle-blowers for shaking up your bubble of denial. I bet you blame protesters for getting beat up and disrupting the "peace". Wouldn't life be so much better if the rest of us would just sit down and shut up.

(55,981 posts)I had at least two of them following me and commenting on everything I said. Trying to piss me off and get me to do something stupid. What they were doing was stupid. I appreciate the attention because it proved I was on the correct side. I think it's a tactic to assign people to monitor the most outspoken progressives. Now that WillyT has been run out of Dodge by a mob, they will be looking for the next victim. It's not that any of the outspoken progressives actually care. Who would have thought that people thinking of themselves as Democrats would resort to mob rule.

(55,981 posts)It was a very mild post but I got 7 hide votes and not one comment. I think like typical bullies they had to whine to a bigger bully. Up until then, I was getting an alert every other day. Most were 7 - 0 to leave but finally one was 0 - 7 to hide.
But I, like many, have had to deal with bullies all my long life and these guys are amateurs.

(2,331 posts)To drink Bernie's kook-aid you have to believe Obama is either incompetent or a traitor and that a 75 year old back bencher from Vermont can do what Obama can't through magic.

(55,981 posts)end-all. He isn't the messiah like some see their authoritarian leader. Sen Sanders is helping us fight against the Oligarchy that is looting the resources of the middle class and working class and the poor to enrich their wealth. How can you side with them? Rhetorical question. I understand the strong pull of authoritarianism. You need someone to take good care of you and you are willig to give up your freedoms and liberties for that pseudo-comfort.
As far as Obama, he was never the progressive he pretended to be as a candidate. He seems nice, has a nice smile and a nice family but is more conservative than Nixon. Don't make me give you the list. He unilaterally decides on who should be targeted for death via drone strikes while knowing that for every successful murder of a SUSPECT, he will kill 110 innocent including children. That takes a special kind of person. A kind that I do not respect. Maybe you think that kind of "toughness" is good, but I don't.

(2,331 posts)This is why Bernie lost me. I love many of his ideas.
I campaigned against Hillary in 2008 in favor of Obama. Rather vigorously actually. However when the answer to how you are going to do things is "revolution." He kind of lost me.
The President is either incompetent or a traitor. You can take your pick. Constitutionally he is having trouble getting a moderate republican onto the Supreme Court right now but I'm sure Bernie through his magic can get a $15 minimum wage.
As for your stance on Obama...really wish Bernie would just call him a traitor so we can have a vote on whether the public thinks that is true or not.

(3,017 posts)I read the whole thing earlier and didn't see a thing wrong with it. I thought Bernie did well. I'd like to see Hillary subject herself to an adversarial line of questions and answer them without whining. But she is too thin skinned to do it.
The latest line of attack for a campaign that has no message of its own other than perhaps "No We Can't".
