READ Daily News interview with Sanders HERE.

Here is an actual link to the New York Daily News editorial board's interview of Bernie Sanders:

http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/transcript-bernie-sanders-meets-news-editorial-board-article-1.2588306

Please read it for yourself and choose excerpts and comment below.

Here is today's COVER of the Daily News, accusing Clinton of being a faker for horning in on the success of the Fight for $15 as though she ever supported it:

You can think what you want of the Daily News or Sanders, but I'm sure you can agree that if you're going to talk about the Daily News interview, you should FIRST talk about the Daily News interview and not what some third-party propagandist says about it.

There are those on this site who apparently believe, seriously, that they can post a hostile headline from the Washington Post and a story full of spin about the Daily News interview of Sanders, WITHOUT even linking to the actual interview!

Please prove that you don't fall for this kind of unscrupulous bullshit.

Bernie Sanders: No, Apple is not destroying the fabric of America. But I do wish they'd be manufacturing some of their devices, here, in the United States rather than in China. And I do wish that they would not be trying to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.

Daily News: Okay. Well, would you name, say, three American corporate giants that are destroying the national fabric?

SANDERS: CLINTON NOT FULLY SYMPATHETIC TO MINIMUM WAGE ISSUE

Sanders: JPMorgan Chase, and virtually every other major bank in this country. Let me be very clear, all right? I believe that we can and should move to what Pope Francis calls a moral economy.

Right now, there are still millions of people in this country who are suffering the results of the greed, recklessness and illegal behavior on Wall Street. And when you have companies like Goldman Sachs and many other major banks reaching settlements with the United States government, as you're aware, for many billions of dollars, this is an implicit admission that they have engaged in illegal activity.

Daily News: I understand that. I wanted to draw a distinction, though. Because in your speech you mention the financial industry and you focused on corporate America, the greed of Wall Street and corporate America. So I wanted to get a sense of corporate America, as the agent of American destruction.

Sanders: General Electric, good example. General Electric was created in this country by American workers and American consumers. What we have seen over the many years is shutting down of many major plants in this country. Sending jobs to low-wage countries. And General Electric, doing a very good job avoiding the taxes. In fact, in a given year, they pay nothing in taxes. That's greed.

That is greed and that’s selfishness. That is lack of respect for the people of this country.

If they do that then they can't follow the David Brock script.

Then they would lose their propaganda advantage, since that's all they have, that would be "unfair" to Hillary!!!

Much like Clinton herself raging against Greenpeace practically frothing at the mouth while poking her finger in the eye of an innocent young woman.

even though I'm a Sanders supporter, I do wish he'd get a little more into details than he does.

But overall, HE MAKES TOTAL SENSE, and is a very smart guy who is trying to restore fairness and decency into our system. he is a welcome antidote to the corporate bi-partisan ass kissing that both the Democrats and Republicans have engaged in since the 1970's.

I also know that he's enough of a pragmatist that he'd bring in experts who know how to implement the details of his policies.

As an example, instead of pimping for GE he lays out what an evil and too-powerful corporation it has become. This is not just hypothetical to me. I live in what used to be a GE Town. It decimated the region's economy....... My Dad was a longtime loyal company man who worked for GE -- he took early retirement in disgust at what GE had become under Neutron Jack Welch....They subsequently said "Fuck You" to our region, and left a huge mess behind.

Bernie hits the nail on the head in this excerpt.

General Electric, good example. General Electric was created in this country by American workers and American consumers. What we have seen over the many years is shutting down of many major plants in this country. Sending jobs to low-wage countries. And General Electric, doing a very good job avoiding the taxes. Not breaking up the banks in general:

Daily News: Okay. You saw, I guess, what happened with Metropolitan Life. There was an attempt to bring them under the financial regulatory scheme, and the court said no. And what does that presage for your program?

Sanders: It's something I have not studied, honestly, the legal implications of that.

You can't possibly speak to everything somebody throws at you off the top of your head. You say I don't know, I would have to look into it, or I don't have the information in front of me (as Bernie did a couple of times).

I don't give a damn what Brock and his team have to say about any of this. Let them put Hillary in front of the New York Daily News editorial board and let's see how she dances when they start trying to pin her down on the many issues she tries to be on every side of.

That was very interesting. The questions seemed to be from an adversarial point of view, particularly in the beginning, but I have no issue with that. I much prefer it to seeing Bernie get smile fucked by the likes of Chuck Todd and Rachel Maddow. Bernie never whined about tough questions, didn't do any bobbing and weaving, just answered them straight on and elaborated when asked followup questions. He demonstrated that he doesn't have a flimsy sound bite political philosophy or agenda that falls apart under tough questioning.

I sure would love to see Hillary sit for an interview with the person or persons who did this interview for the Daily News Editorial Board.
