In August 2015, at the Democratic Party convention in Minneapolis, 33 democratic state parties made deals with the Hillary Clinton campaign and a joint fundraising entity called The Hillary Victory Fund. The deal allowed many of her core billionaire and inner circle individual donors to run the maximum amounts of money allowed through those state parties to the Hillary Victory Fund in New York and the DNC in Washington.
It almost goes without saying that no one had cast a single vote yet in the Democratic primary. Not only had we not decided who the Democratic nominee was in August of 2015, we still havent decided, pointed out The Young Turks Host, Cenk Uygur on Monday. But back then, the DNC already made their decision.
The DNC was so positive that Hillary was going to be the nominee - or that they wanted her to be the nominee - that they began a process of actively funnelling money to her campaign. At the same time, they also convinced 33 Democratic state parties to go along with the plan. Counterpunch states:

This entitlement of Hillary Clinton -- "It's her turn." -- is disgusting.
The presidency of the USA has never been, and should never be either a birthright or a spousal right.
It is NOT her turn.
Plus, her policy positions suck.

(1,446 posts)Why the hell would he fundraise for the DNC to simply funnel the money into the Hillary Victory Fund? At that point he may as well just start bundling for Hillary. It would be like paying for lying attack ads against himself.
