Glad this is being reported. Hillary is FAKE as it gets and people need to know it before they vote. She only takes a stand when there's no political risk and even then, it's hard to believe she still supports it. Just like when she said she didn't support the Columbia Free Trade Agreement when her Campaign Manager, Mark Penn was caught negotiating it for the Bush Administration in the 2008 election. She denounced it during the election and then when she became SoS, she pushed that trade agreement along with the Panama Free Trade Agreement which made things like the Panama Papers possible.

Speaking to the bills supporters, Clinton said, Its a result of what is best about New York and what is best about America. And I know that its going to sweep our country. This is curious, considering the fact that Clinton previously refused to endorse a national minimum wage of $15, something the Democratic party leadership did in August. Last summer, she told Buzzfeed:
More curious still is the former Secretary of States work on minimum wages in other countries. In 2009, Haiti wanted to increase the minimum wages at its textile factories to $5 per day. After American manufacturers protested, the State Department intervened, as The Nation points out:
The unemployed and underpaid masses are precisely who a $15 minimum wage would help and, at least today, it looks like Hillary Clinton is finally on their side.

(3,017 posts)Hillary was mocking Bernie (without mentioning his name) yesterday, suggesting he is all talk and big proposals but no nitty gritty details and work.
She lauded Andrew Cuomo for championing this minimum wage deal. The Andrew Cuomo who was quoted in the New York Times last September as saying $15 was too high, he favored $10.50. Then the NYT ran an article last month about how Cuomo "pivoted" and got on board with the $15.
I guess birds of a feather really do flock together.
