An old joke, but an appropriate one in this case.

I've been here for 13.75 years and this is the first time I've ever seen this information.

Of course, it could be that I've never considered Clinton worth paying attention to or discussing, so I've generally skipped most threads about her. Even in '08.

It's simply more information to support my rejection of Clinton as anyone I'd support for anything.

even if she is on the wrong side of things. her laughing about how she 'won' shows her lack of empathy for the victim as well. a child nonetheless.

her life seems like a string of competitions where she will do anything to come out on top, not caring about the damage she leaves in her wake. that's a dangerous type of personality.

If you're defending someone, you can't tank the defense. You work for the defendant.

A dirty, rotten, scheming lawyer. Exactly who I want in my corner.

(Disclaimer: this does not mean I want her as president, merely that, like you said, it should not count)

Doing a job like that should not be funny. She should have just said I defended the client ethically to the best of my abilities.

She should never have implied that the client was guilty by her comment regarding the polygraph. That seems to be an ethical breach.

I think how she got the case should not matter. Everyone is entitled to representation.

And whether someone actually did it is a separate question from legal guilt and innocence.

The question is whether the state proved the case beyond a reasonable doubt. At any rate, this doesn't bother me in the least.

that their client did it.

Would this board be so quick to not condemn gallows humor for a U.S. serviceman talking about killing an enemy commandant. I remember being horrified at General Schwarzkopf joking on national television about someone escaping from a bridge that was being blown up.

I didn't listen to the tapes, but attacking a 12y/o rape victim in that way on behalf of a perpetrator that you think is guilty?

Is there a statute of limitations on massive ethical judgement failure?
