What I gather from the chaos/problems with the primaries: It will hurt Democratic turnout in the GE.

Which ever side wins the primaries at this point, the respective other side will claim that the win is illegitimate and the result of voter suppression/disenfranchisement. And thanks to all of the chaos, they will have plenty of grounds to do so. In the end, it will lead to lower turnout in November, because there will be a segment of voters that will feel like they were cheated out of their vote during the primaries.

Congratulations Democrats for screwing yourselves.
