I am worried about Kerry's seat if the President wins, because I expect. Scott Brown to

run for Kerry's seat after he loses the election to Elizabeth Warren. Snott Clown will attempt run again in my opinion. Are there any strong candidates in Massachusetts to replace Senator Kerry? I expect the President to win and I donated $100 to Priorities USA.

have Democrats ready to beat Brown, particularly given that Brown has shown his true colors during this campaign.

successful in pretty much any career, marital friction over the career arises.

Even in the Obama household according to the Public TV bio-piece on the two candidates.

And I hope that's the last we see of him.

And I would like to think that MA would not be willing to vote him in again so soon if they vote him out this time.

Either way it sounds like a tough decision. He deserves promo, but OTOH, how will MA will embrace that remains to be seen.

He repeatedly has says that he loves the job he has and is focused on it and will run in 2014. However, if the President said that he is the person he thinks could do the things on fp that Obama (and Kerry) want done, I think he would accept it.

Now, if the Senate has 50 (or even 51) Democrats, I doubt that either Obama or Kerry would risk it. Kerry has after all been used as a diplomat by Obama even though he is a Senator - and there is no reason that could not continue. Either way, it is very clear that in the Senate or a possible second administration, Kerry is a valued, high powered asset.

However, I don't think Brown, defeated by Warren, will be as strong a candidate as Brown, junior Senator - and his behavior has hurt him. One of the arguments that ALWAYS was going to be used against him was that he would be a vote for MCConnell. That would be true the second time too.

Not to mention, Brown's fragile ego is obvious in his often illusions of grandeur - that he talks with queens and kings, bills that he merely co-sponsored are "his", he served in Afghanistan (there for 1 wk theoretically for NG training, but mostly as a Senator. - As a Senator he is not even the Senator who spent the most time in Afghanistan.) and that he is a ranking member on the Armed Services committee. If he loses, even if he wins Kerry's seat, he is will again be the most junior Senator there is.

I doubt he has the guts to run after a loss.

b/c Obama gets another term and Warren is our US Senator. Let's see how it plays out before we start wrining our hands.

He won because it was a very different electorate than will turn out in a presidential year or even for a mid-term.

And a good portion of the remainder is the continuation of the unfunded Bush tax cuts. You do know these things, right?
