(38,556 posts)The mailer doesn't WRONGLY say anything. Bernie's delegates showed up.

(24,721 posts)& someone said Bernie supporters got the same wrong information.

(86,006 posts)...one account I read said he lost 20% of his delegates to the notice.
I don't know if that's true, but something to look for tomorrow.
kiva
(4,373 posts)"lost" 20% of the paperwork for Bernie delegates. I have no idea if it was true, but I think that's part of the reason that Bernie delegates and alternates turned out and stayed on Saturday, because we were worried.

I hope they track the source of this down soon.

There's also a copy of the memo bigtree included in the OP, plus a copy of the letter sent to Hillary's volunteers. Check that out in the link in my excerpt; it sounds pretty plain about what to do.

(4,373 posts)Every delegate I talked to at the convention got this e-mail no matter who they were supporting.
It wasn't a GOP plot, it was pure local Democratic Party stupidity. The e-mail was sent by Eventbrite, the ticketing company that the party hired to extort money from delegates for tickets to attend the convention. The sending address was:
Clark County Democratic Party <noreply@eventbrite.com>

(81 posts)... but I suspected it was aimed at preventing Sanders voters from attending, so I ignored it and attended the convention. I was shocked to hear a Clinton delegate accuse that someone on the Sanders side had sent it to fool Clinton delegates. My prejudices led me to believe the opposite to be the case (If you're a Clinton supporter don't feel insulted. It's just a simple fact that each side doesn't trust the other right now.)
I'm not even clear on whether or not delegates who attended the pre-registration on the previous night, but didn't attend the convention, had their votes counted. (i.e. was the email fraudulent?) Now I'm trying to determine if the email was factually correct or not, and who sent it. It appeared to have come from Christine Kramer. But I haven't confirmed that it did. I've contacted her and both campaigns. Kramer responded that:
"As I was removed as the credentials chair to the convention by the executive board I cannot speak to the official results.
I have copied the party chair so that he can provide an official response."

(12,685 posts)The delegate selection process still isn't finished. The next level is state. Hmm.. wonder what will happen there.

(12,685 posts)Even Bernie supporters received that email, and a flier with that same missinformation was handed out BY CLARK COUNTY DEMS to all of us who preregistered on Friday.

Considering this is only one step in a multi-step process it makes me wonder what the game is.... Clinton playing the victim to rally the base is where I would place my bet.

Lucinda
(31,170 posts)just be a colossal error. It needs to be tracked down though.

(1,890 posts)but as you say, it should be tracked down.

Unbelievable.
Every state, primary or caucus, has a flawed and usually undemocratic process. Some make fraud easy. It's all ridiculous.

(81 posts)I followed up with the Clark County Democratic Party and received an email indicating that committed delegates who checked in at the Friday night meeting DID have their votes counted on Saturday. So the Email was not fraudulent. It turns out that the only reason that Sanders won the county convention was because large numbers of Clinton delegates simply didn't think it was important enough to bother showing up at either event. The caucus voters who voted for Hillary Clinton should be enraged, not at Sanders or his supporters, but at their own elected delegates.
