We are seriously falling out in separate studios. Okay, if you and Hillary had a
podcast like Call Your Girlfriend what would you talk about?
Huma: Okay, food. Food. Definitely food.
Ann: Oh my God.
Huma: Because we’re obsessed with food. It’s a joke on the campaign. Whenever we
have a chance and it’s meal time, it is always – and particularly we’re so lucky to
be able to be on an airplane where we have this wonderful woman who provides
us with as nutritious of meals as possible. But we are obsessed with food and we
look forward to it and what is it? And I want to know the menu. And then we
enjoy it. So we talk about food. We talk about fashion. And we sometimes – we’ll
often do celebrity gossip, although very often we’ll be looking through pages and
say “Who are these people?” We’re not sure. But there’s plenty of people we
love. So we just – you know, it’s fun, but I would say food is probably top of the
list. Maybe food and shoes? Maybe food and shoes.
Ann: Okay, I have to skip ahead because we have a question later in the rapid fire
which is what is your power snack? Which is the natural follow-up to that
question.

Huma: Okay, you know, it’s any power bar. You know, I did Kind. I’m on Quest Bars
now really because it’s like . . .
Amina: Oh man, Quest Bar. Good bar.
Huma: Yeah, Quest Bar I think is my favorite. I like the cookies and cream I think
probably the most and sometimes like the double chocolate brownie. But I think
that it’s the easiest thing to throw it in my bag. And I think I mentioned this
earlier, sometimes you don’t know when your next meal is, so it’s the safest thing
to pack.
Amina: That’s amazing. What’s your pump-up song?

Huma: You know what it’s been recently? It’s Andra Day’s Rise Up. I just . . .
Amina: Ooh, good choice.
Huma: Oh God, I love her and her voice. I feel so empowered when I listen to that song.
Ann: Okay. You’ve said that you love the show Veep.
Huma: Yes.
Ann: Do you identify with the Tony Hale character at all?
Huma: Okay, so what I love . . . [Laughs] So there’s lots of shows that I love. The
problem is we hardly ever – and I do love Veep. I watch everything. I watch
Veep. I watch Downton Abbey. I watch Scandal. I watch Good Wife. I watch . . .
I mean the list is long. Here’s the problem: I’m so behind on everything that now
if we’re traveling, I’ll be at a hotel room in Iowa and I’ll turn the TV on. I’ll be
totally confused. I’ll be like wait a minute. Wait, how did this happen? Kerry
Washington’s living in the White House? What? Because I completely lost track
of where we are – where they are in the seasons.
Do I identify with the character? I identify with the whole show because I think to
me it’s the closest thing to what Washington is and it’s just sort of all the things
that people don’t want to say they say on that show and it’s done in such a funny
way. But he is very, very funny and I don’t know that I identify with him but he
certainly sets a very high standard for anybody who does that job.
Amina: I’m so excited for you to catch up on Good Wife because for me, and when the
emails were leaked, when I found out that you all watched Good Wife, that’s the
only thing I cared about.
Huma: That was in the emails?
Amina: This is the biggest revelation.
Ann: We got excited.
Amina: And I can’t wait for you to catch up because it’s been a rollercoaster and it’s
ending in five episodes and it’s kind of crazy.
Huma: Oh my God, don’t tell me what happens.
Amina: Oh, I won’t tell you. You’re going to die. It’s amazing.
In any given email
I don't honestly know why a person of such high intelligence and passion could so thoughtlessly but herself in this situation.
I wonder if it makes voters question her judgment and ability to really serve the country with confidence and thoughtfulness.
Very careless, sloppy, and I see no benefit for all the effort that went into this server-in-the-basement way of doing official business.
What am I missing?

Did Clinton have to lie about sniper fire? No.
Did Clinton have to lie about the Marines, the Rose law firm documents, who she was named after, etc. etc. etc.? No.
It is like trusting a highly venomous snake not to bite you.

But, shouldn't Obama have filled it for her? Why should departments choose their own IG's. Would seem the system of oversight there is broken. So, we assume Kerry appointed an IG for State and that is the person who is now trying to handle the E-Mail situation who got stuck with that job of going through Clinton's E-Mails.
And, I don't recall Huma ever giving an interview and to give it to this website just doesn't seem appropriate. She gave it today, April 1 (From the link at Politico) Kind of an odd time to do a silly girly talk interview that doesn't fit with her sophisticated position with Hillary all these years. Or, maybe it was an April Fools Joke that Politico just fooled us with.
I remember seeing that video where she intervened with that woman like she was going to attack Hillary. They have been together for years... so I guess she acts as a bodyguard?
