2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary Clinton's Support Among Nonwhite Voters Has Collapsed.
By the numbers analysis says the tables have turned and the pendulum has swung, which the HRC Wisconsin staff pull out underscores. The MSM is still hooked on the meme of the inevitable and refusing to notice the changes on the ground among Black and Latino voters.
Surf's Up! Here comes the next wave!
By March 26th, she led Sanders among African-Americans by just nine points.
And today, Public Policy Polling, a widely respected polling organization, released a poll showing that Sanders leads Clinton among African-American voters in Wisconsin by 11 points.
Its all part of a dramatic national trend that has seen Clintons support among nonwhite voters dwindle to well under a third of what it was just a month ago not nearly enough support to carry her, as it did throughout the Deep South, to future electoral victories in the Midwest and Northeast.

(1,377 posts)About Sanders being a racist. That is what drove the community to vote down here in SC for her.

Try it, it's eye opening to the novice.
I attended the one at the Milwaukee fairgrounds on Tuesday. Half the crowd was of...Other than European heritage.
Oh by the way a vote for Bernie isn't a vote for tRump. Any more so that a vote for Ms. Clinton is a vote for Obama's third term.

(11,175 posts)I'm not familiar with Abramson's work. I have no opinion about his credibility.
But credibility isn't at issue. With minimal effort you can confirm his statement for yourself.
What I can see with my own two eyes, however, is that he provided a link to support his assertion. Note that his statement is not "I've talked with a bunch of blacks and this is my sense of how their votes are going." Instead, his statement reports the results of a PPP poll, to which he provides a link (one going directly to the PPP website).
Click on the link and scroll down to page 5. Or, don't, I'll save you the trouble, so that you'll have more time to post specious attacks on news you don't like:
Among whites:
Hillary Clinton 43%
Bernie Sanders 49%
Undecided 8%
Among African Americans:
Hillary Clinton 40%
Bernie Sanders 51%
Undecided 9%
Among "Other":
Hillary Clinton 52%
Bernie Sanders 48%

(19,053 posts)LOL, Hillary didn't think that she would have to actually campaign, she thought she could just send out team members to create the narrative, both on the mainstream media and on social media and that would be enough. Backroom deals and arm twisting for powerful endorsements and wha-la! instant nominee. Jaja, Hillary, ya gotta work for it!
