The Keystone Pipeline

Where can you find out who owns the land along the pipeline right of way? It would be interesting to find out which republicans own the land along the pipeline path and how long they have owned it.

Maybe the people propagandizing the loudest where planning on gaining big profits?

That is a traditional form of (land profit) insider trading practiced by congressmen and people "in the know". Find out about a big project way ahead of the masses, buy up the land, then okay the pipeline route which has to then buy the land from the regulators or their family's.

Along with many of Congress investing from insider trading I am sure they also had inside dibs on planned pipeline before it was released. Why is it so very important to have the pipeline all the way to Texas, wonder who wins on this one. There are refineries much closer, perhaps it is because Texas has clear shipping lanes to the world so as you can figure now the supply is not for the USA, just easier for Canada to sell to the world.

farmers that shut it down there because of land disputes. Even if Obama said yes, there are law suits filed in the states to stop it.

Someone should be in-the-know on who, why and when the land was purchased. Of course, it would be a secret, but those often leak out to the locals.

What's Ben Nelson been up to? How does he vote on the pipeline?
