FBI Reveals New Details About Its Probe Into Hillary Clinton's Use of Private Email Server

"March 26, 2016 | 7:05 am
The FBI submitted a classified declaration to a federal court judge late Friday explaining details about the bureau's "pending investigation" into the use of a private email server by Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton. The declaration addresses why the FBI can't publicly release any records about its probe in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by VICE News.

In a separate public declaration, David Hardy, the chief of the FBI's FOIA office, said there are a number of documents exchanged between the FBI and the State Department relating to the FBI's ongoing investigation of Clinton's use of a private email server, which stored all of the official government emails Clinton sent and received during her tenure as Secretary of State. But the FBI, which consulted with attorneys within its Office of General Counsel "who are providing legal support to the pending investigation," cannot divulge any of them without "adversely affecting" the integrity of its investigation."

"Materials that were retrieved from any server equipment and related devices obtained from former Secretary Clinton for the investigation, which would be responsive to [VICE News' FOIA request], are potential evidence in the FBI's investigation, or may provide leads to or context for potential evidence,"

This is the first time the FBI has confirmed they retrieved the files off the wiped server

"Disclosure of evidence, potential evidence, or information that has not yet been assessed for evidentiary value while the investigation is active and ongoing could reasonably be expected to undermine the pending investigation by prematurely revealing its scope and focus."

I find that last sentence troubling for Clinton

"Some of the documents at issue concern "server equipment and related devices obtained from former Secretary Clinton," Hardy said. The documents "consist of memoranda from the FBI to the Department of State regarding evidence. The purpose of these communications with the Department of State was to solicit assistance in furtherance of the FBI's investigation.""

This tells me that the FBI is looking at Hillary and her aids use of their personal devices to connect to the server and the fact that the FBI is now working with the Dept of State. Previously the judge asked them to cooperate together but the FBI told them to beat it.

Obama and Lynch should keep their thumbs of the scale of justice and indict if indictment is appropriate as determined by the conclusion arrived at as a result of the investigation.

FULL QUOTE/FACTS NOT IN QUESTION:

"private email server, which stored all of the official government emails Clinton sent and received during her tenure as Secretary of State"

Let's repeat that for the ignorant:

ALL OF THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT EMAILS CLINTON SENT AND RECEIVED

KEY WORDS: ALL

How could the folks in the White House not catch this (assuming they were both Sending and Receiving emails from her)?

I know the technical ways to do it - duh, IT - but wow. Good to know she could use her Magic Psychic Powers to determine whether or not she was getting any Classified and/or Top Secret information from people in advance.

And by the way, having recently read that the reason she didn't originally turn over 30,000 emails was because they were "Personal Business" - who the hell has time for 30,000 PERSONAL EMAILS?

If I recall correctly, 70k business emails were turned over previously, hence my "who has time for that many personal emails" without my being clear that so many were already being done for business.
