Saw Bernie live last night in Yakima, WA!

It was thrilling. We sat up close in the ADA section and the crowd was about 7,500, so, small and intimate, in this fairly rural area. The event started with a celebration of the Yakama Indian Nation, on whose land we were sitting. Beautiful dancing and stories. Of course, the camaraderie alone was worth it.

Bernie covered many of the same points in his stump speech, but with some heartfelt elaboration. His energy level is impressive. I would embed photos here but haven't figured out how to.

If you get the chance - especially in a smaller arena - I highly recommend you go to hear him.

My favorite line of the night: "AT THE END OF THE DAY, LOVE TRUMPS HATE."

Well said, Bernie.

I haven't been there for a couple decades.

And apparently it's been a while since a Presidential candidate has been there too...

Started with a wonderful celebration of Yakama tribal culture and stories. Bernie was energetic and sincere (no bird, though!).
