Why is it that not one elected Republican official has said a word about Bernie?

Not one peep. It's like he doesn't exist.

Hillary? Republican PACs have spent millions on Hillary-hate ads in all of the big primary and caucus states.

If Bernie is outpolling Hillary, wouldn't they prefer Hillary to be their opponent? Wouldn't they be spending their millions on Bernie-hate ads and ignoring Hillary?

Why is that?

Even Trump has called him a communist multiple times. Just because you choose to ignore it while yelling "Right wing smear!" about anything negative about Hillary, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

GOP officials don't call people Jewish Socialists except in stupid, self-destructive moments. They would encourage radio and on-line slimebuckets to whole swamps of it if Sanders became our nominee for president, of course.

As for Trump, bigotry and anti-establishment wall-kicker noise are the carrots he's using to draw in mostly the usual social conservatives who lap that stuff up.

The thing that will surely work is the agnostic charge. While most Americans can accept a Jewish president, there would be a battle cry against a godless one. This is one of the main reasons I chose Hillary several months ago. (Not because Bernie is agnostic, but because that makes him unelectable, in my opinion.) I come from a large Catholic family, almost all Democratic, and to a person, they would vote for anyone (including Trump) who was 'god fearing' over an agnostic. They don't believe that anyone who doesn't believe in god can have good morals, ethics and values.

Most of those type ads are run locally because they tend to be targeted and timed for the most effect.

Their hasn't been an "all out attack" with ads against Hillary despite what people are saying. This was pretty tame and they also put out an ad against Bernie.

There is absolutely nothing negative they could use against him.
That's why if he was up against Trump, he would win 50 states.
The right wants Clinton to be the nominee and that's why they attack her.

Trump on Bernie: "I watched Hillary last night, ‘we’re gonna give this, we’re gonna give that, we’re going to give that. The poor woman, she’s gotta give everything away because this maniac that was standing on her right was giving everything away, so she’s following! That’s what’s happening. This socialist-slash-communist, okay? Nobody wants to say it. He’s gonna tax you people at 90 percent; he’s gonna take everything! And nobody’s heard the term ‘communist.’ I call him a socialist-slash-communist because that’s what he is.”
