All of a sudden now Joe S. and the crew

believe that ALL of the polls are outliers. Joe S. said he does not believe Gallup or the NBC Iowa and Wisconsin polls. Yeah, I betcha he was promoting the Gallup poll all day yesterday. Then once the NBC polls came out he did a 180. Oh and then Chuck Todd chimed in and said that it feels like Obama is on the defensive. He said that if Obama is in the midwest trying to hold on then that means he is on the defensive. He said if Obama was in North Carolina or something then he would be on offensive. WHATEVER. Oh and he blames the instability of the polls on Early Voting. He said it is the states with Early voting that are unpredictable because no one knows how they are dealing with the large number of early voters. Why didn't we have that problem in 2008? There were tons of early voters then too. I don't remember polls being completely opposite. Perhaps because the race was not close last time around?

NC is one jf a growing number of states where you can register and vote on the same. The NC version only allows that during early voting, but that still means anyone eligible to vote, not just those registered, are possibly likely voters. A DUer in NC posted yesterday of doing this deliberately and with forethought. Take that Gallop.

30,000 people at the Obama event - with another reported 20,000 who couldn't get in the gates, in crappy weather, just two weeks after he had already done another packed event in Milwaukee... Wisconsin is fired up.

Rachel mentioned our early voting numbers being low, yet right now only mailed ballots are accepted. On Monday the 22nd, we can start voting early in the municipal clerk's office.

I agree that he was too quick to say Romney has a clear EV path, and the early vote thing is a bit of a negative spin.

BUT, I clearly remember him saying two or months ago, the point he referenced about how if the battle was in VA and CO, it would indicate BO being in a very strong position vs if the battle was in the midwest, he was defending his break point states.

He said that a while ago and I think it is in fact indicative of where the race is now.

Pre-first debate, BO had a larger front he was able to attack from.

Post-first debate, BOs fronts are pulling back.

One day he is bashing Mitt, the next day he is bashing the Liberals! Seriously, I really think this guy feels that he is going to one day be President, but here in Florida it is well known that he has alot of skeletons in his closet.

today Obama is in Virginia and Florida, two Southern states. Yesterday he was in NH. It's been 2-days since he was in the Midwest--and why shouldn't he be?
