Democrats posted a clever jab at Mitt Romney's tax plan on Tuesday, and within 24 hours, they calculated that the web page had drawn nearly 2 million visitors.

The page, romneytaxplan.com, encourages users to "get the details" by clicking on a button. The catch: the button moves every time a user tries to click it.

The DNC says it has so far drawn 2,000,009 visits from 1,850,340 different visitors. Some 744,000 have "Liked" it on Facebook and 56,100 have tweeted it.

In the world of web and social marketing, the numbers stand out, particularly when one considers that a campaign web video viewed more than 100,000 times is a smash success. Albeit, there was some advertising involved: It is the first advertised link that pops up on Google anytime someone searches for the words "Romney" and "tax." Still, a notable achievement.
