On I/P, both candidates in the general are going to be further to the right than George W Bush was.

I could not imagine a more RW speech. The Trump one was also right wing but he seemed a little befuddled. Cruz appeared to mean what he said and had various "Biblical underpinnings" for his position (unlike Trump) and even threw in some Hebrew.

This is the ending I read at your link, it seemed an odd sign off:

There has a disturbing trend among some of the Republicans in this presidential election, and it takes the opposite approach: to divide us and pit us against each other. The Republican front-runner, Donald Trump, suggested limiting immigration according to religion and creating a national database based on religion. That not only goes against everything we stand for as a country, it would also hurt us significantly in our relations with other counties.

It also is not fat from what Obama has done in recent years. Note that he praises the Iran deal, the partial cease fire in Syria and though he goes somewhat further on Israel, Biden' s comments on settlements is closer to Sanders than Clinton.

I assume this will get only the coverage people can get it on social media, which is a shame no matter who people support. This adds new ideas to the conversation. It also completely over turns the idea that he has no foreign policy knowledge.

Actually I think that deep down he cares more about
Israel than the others.
Hillary panders to Bibi, just as in her first love letter
to him.
The repugs just want wars anyway to keep the profits
coming or are waiting for Jesus to return idiocies.

As always, I am sure he cares, but does intend to
be fair.
