Is about as likely as Dick Cheney getting one.
She's a warmonger and she just proved that with her AIPAC speech. Don't expect any Peace in the Middle East with her as President.

(307 posts)That is how denial works. That video reveals that they are willing to lie to themselves, therefore, they choose to ignore it at all costs. Hillary fans with deeply fixed modes of ideological thinking do not want to have to confront themselves with the reality of innocent people having their limbs blown off and little children being torn apart by bombs that Hillary encouraged the use of. That reality must be shoved to the back of the cupboard like an old can of beans. That is why the media wanted people to focus on that Benghazi crap rather than the war itself. Typical distraction play.

(307 posts)We're just getting started. Bernie all the way! I think he would pull a lot more people if he came out with a stronger anti-war message at this point. Americans are tired of the war and propaganda in the media. Bernie needs to tell it like it is, then the whole country would shift away from Hillary and Trump and move towards Bernie.

(307 posts)to his campaign. The fact that he isn't going 'there' is a little troubling. Hopefully soon Bernie will turn up the heat. It worked for Jeremy Corbyn in the UK when he openly spoke out against NATO and the war machine he became the Labour Party leader.

(3,967 posts)But even the current President, with a Nobel Peace Prize, has not yet brought about a Peace in the Middle East. Hillary's husband came close.

2) That is the poster's right
3) Another poster opined that he looks forward to seeing less incendiary posts.
4) I seconded that emotion.
5) Joe Votes for a Democrat therefore he is a Democrat. Mary votes for a Republican therefore she is a Republican. Hans votes for a National Socialist therefore he is a National Socialist.
6) Not really a point but a questions. When Skinner bans a post is he an authoritarian?
7) I would say not unless he wants to silence that person outside this board.

(12,754 posts)is a typical post from Mrs. Clinton's claque. It's unfortunate they don't have anything positive to say about that woman and have to resort to ridicule. If Mrs. Clinton fails again, as she well should, her supporters will bear a large part of the blame. They are turning people off right and left. So sad. Apparently, Mrs. Clinton has no positive qualities -- other than job titles on a resume and her marital status.

(59,504 posts)It is completely undemocratic that he declared before half the people voted, before HRC had anywhere near half the delegates, that it was general election time.
Note: He did not do this in 2004 when Kerry was much further ahead in delegates than Clinton this year. In fact, what had been a hostile site totally supporting Dean, became a hostile site totally supporting Edwards, a more hawkish person and far less liberal than Kerry. Even when Kerry got almost all the delegates needed on March 2, there was still no call that criticism of him was unacceptable.
Note: In 2008, this did not happen when all the contests were over and Obama had won the majority of the pledged delegates and the superdelegates were strongly moving towards him.
Could it be that he fears that Hillary is less strong and more vulnerable to criticism than either Obama or Kerry were.

(59,504 posts)the Iran deal (others simply finalized it) and the Paris Climate Change accord, which she seems to think came out of her scolding the Chinese and Indians in Copenhagen.
As to Israel/Palestine, various people, including John Kerry, have said for at least a decade that there is a narrow window to get a two state solution. Settlements have increased and expanded - and as they mature, the chance that Israel agrees to allow them to be defined as in Palestine decreases. This leaves something that resembles Swiss cheese. What has become increasing obvious is that it is not just Netanyahu and his coalition that would reject any real 2 state solution. I think the people who said that the window was narrow were right ... and they kept saying it as that window was closing with the building of settlements.
The question is whether Israel wants to be democratic or Jewish --- it has already, by virtue of not working towards 2 states, chosen to be one state. Netanyahu may go down as the man who made Israel as a democratic Jewish state an impossibility.
Fantastic Anarchist
(7,309 posts)There is no way a viable Palestinian state can exist with all of those settlements and Jewish-only roads that intersects the map of the territories. It's pretty much a fait accompli. The question now is what kind of one state will Israel be. If it chooses to be a democratic state, then it cannot be a Jewish state. The character of the state will have to change, which I suspect will be vetoed by the Jewish citizens of Israel. That leaves really only one other alternative, which is not positive at all.

(59,504 posts)It is a pretty painful conclusion that I wished Israelis had the courage to change. This is something that can not be done even the best international diplomats.
