2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDown goes the Bully
Romney was the same guy we saw in the last debate. A bully who tried to take control of the agenda and the format, stepping all over both the moderator and the President.
It was so inspiring to watch Obama, with reality on his side, stand up and show Romney who exactly he was trying to bully. Obama stood there with a calm steel in his voice and let Romney know that the Commander in Chief does not play politics with American lives.
There is much more that I could say about tonight's amazing debate, but I think from that point on Romney's facade of strength was shattered. He looked like a petulant school boy, used to getting away with everything, getting scolded by the teacher for the first time.

(51,666 posts)being snotty to Obama, talking out of turn, talking over Obama and Crowley. It's obvious he is functioning in CEO mode and is not accustomed to deferring to ANYONE.
What a complete asswipe.

(51,666 posts)like all 1%ers, want ANY little guys coming up from the bottom to compete with him and his buddies.
Well, maybe he does. He wants them rising and struggling to survive so he can buy them up and strip them of assets and fire their workers.

(176 posts)So angry at all the lies from Rmoney, I didn't even catch that. Absolutely disgusting.
I'd like to use tonight's debate as an instructional resource for the debate club I mentor. Any thoughts on how best to do so? (without making it overtly political)
