Financial overthrows and collapses will be of small consequence the way our entire world is headed. Between ecological obliteration overpopulation, global warming and ten or twenty other catastrophes headed our way in the near future that we can predict (probably more coming our way that we don't know about yet). What makes you think somebody working on or with wall street or some other top heavy institution will have an advantage over the the knowledge that you have personally?

I see it in the coming years and decades that we will all have to work together even more closely or civilization as we know it, will vanish. One groups dominance over another is getting to point of being counter productive. How it will all work, i don't know but i know we can figure it out. We will have to figure it out because if we don't much more perilous roads await us if we don't.

Also if you haven't noticed, many things move, change and travel much faster every year and minute by minute. This also one of those who work at linear assumptions fail to realize. Get out, check things, nothing stays the same. Even a fossil that seems it wouldn't change, changes because as you get closer to where it is you get to understand it better. This happens because we are connected in ways we still don't understand but might need to later on. You can dismiss things as being nutty but there is grain of truth or many grains of truth in everything. I don't underestimate those with large bank that have access and where-with-all but it didn't help them that much in those other civilizations that came before us either. You can really ask yourself, what i do today, will or will it not matter in a hundred years? How will know or not know if it did?

Sort of like a bunch of people are arguing about what type of tracks they are on, one says, bear tracks, another says deer track, another say no, they're tiger tracks, then the train runs them all over. There is much more going on in the world , that is actually now the size of a baseball, that we truly are all in this together and we better figure it out soon. I'm thinking only about 1/3 of the population of the world will survive whatever is coming in the immediate future, and may 1/3 of their offspring will survive, then we will have no choice but to figure it out together. Whatever it is that's coming, will affect everyone on the planet. Just a brain rant

I don't like things like this because it makes it look like Bernie is participating in the escalating of the violence which is the exact OPPOSITE of who he is! However, trying to get people to take down the fake tweet explaining this is NOT who Bernie is was met with anger & disgust. People just don't get how we'll be judged on a completely different level by the media & Bernie will get the blame...Or they don't care as long as they get a likes on their FB/DU post.

if any Trump people will take him up.

If they do, this could be a big help to our campaign.

We know our candidate and his message. He means it when he says the we need to unite rather than divide people. He will invite them in to reason with them.

If a formation of people wearing Trump "colors" starts to march in to a Sanders rally, he will try to have a civil discourse with them. If they come on like Hells Angels, it will all be on TV and it will really hurt Trump. But if they respect the olive branch from Bernie, and conduct a civil dialog, all of America will see what it really wants to see, real people working out our differences to live in peace.

I'm not saying that the dialog would resolve anything -- but if the riot that everybody expects, and that the media wants so desperately to televise, does not happen, Sanders looks like the right person to lead our country.

He is a great leader. I never knew that about him. We are lucky to have him.

Good. Maybe they'll listen and come to know what the real deal is. I do know that many Trump supporters like him because he's not part of the inner circle of revolving door politicians and he's critical of the status quo. Bernie is also outside that revolving door and is critical of the status quo, however, Bernie articulates what the real problems are to be critical of, not the ones Trumpet makes up to stir up unrest.

Sun Mar 13, 2016, 06:09 PM
Mar 2016

You know what popped into my head the other day: How Trump could turn the violent supporters thing around would be to have INVITED the Chicago protestors onto the stage, thanked them for expressing their views, maybe letting a spokesperson or two say something, then providing them safe passage out or welcome to stay if they wanted to. That would have been PRESIDENTIAL!

Of course he scheduled his event at a Chicago university campus in the hope of trouble, so he is never going to do the right thing. But it just occurred to me what he could have done.

And now Bernie's gone and done it! THAT is A PRESIDENT!

--------------------------------------

Well, I got suckered. It looks like it's a fake Bernie post. But I still think that a peace initiative to Trump supporters is in order, and would be a great leadership move--an invitation to talk, and a disinvitation to disrupt. I happen to know that some Trump supporters are merely disgruntled people--people who are hurting like all of us-- who feel betrayed by Republican leaders. They are not hate-filled people, merely very, very unhappy with their own dreams getting upended and zero honest leadership. All kinds of angry Americans need to be listened to--if they are not 'brown-shirts.'

As I just posted elsewhere, we need a plan that's in sync with the campaign just in case the DrUMPF-sters do actually show up. With increasing scrutiny -- now that the talking heads are starting to notice us -- we must all be on the same page. Otherwise, we'd end up like the Repukes and their circular firing-squad. None of us wants that.

Here's what I just posted: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=1484525

P.S. Autocorrect had changed "DrUMPF-sters" to "DrUMPF-steers". A steer is a bull with no balls. Draw your own conclusion.

All I ask of nay-sayers is to please listen to Bernie, not what others say he said, but, actually to Bernie.

or else he'll feel the bern on the debate stage pretty soon.
Bernie should start trolling Drumpf and invite him to the debate. The networks will be more than willing to give them stage.

Even if it wasn't Bernie. If it was, he shouldn't have mixed "see" and "sound."

I would've written it as, "Send them. They deserve to see what an honest politician looks like." Or it could be written as, "Send them. They deserve to hear what an honest politician sounds like."
