Must have been shock therapy. I could hear him pause and almost want to say an um and held off. Always killed me how he could be so eloquent with prepared material and stumble as bad as I would if on stage before the world speaking off the top of my head.

Tonight he was convicted and confident in ways I don't think I've ever seen him before, including his speech, posture, eye contact and sincerety. He is fighting, fighting like hell...we should all do the same for him.

Not in terms of having the intellect of speaking abilities of Obama, but often when I need to explain a complex issue it takes me a while to chose the correct words and essemble my thoughts. But it seems to drop when I am at easy or angry/passionate.

a *lot* of ums & ahs during his primary debates with Hillary. Also in the 1st debate with Mittens.

I still think he was purposefully slow-playing that debate but ended up overdoing it (or under-doing it lol)
