(1,508 posts)As the Senator from Vermont doesn't win against the Senator from New York there's a problem. Bernie was born and raised in New York but has represented Vermont since back in the 60's. Clinton represented New York since 2000 as a senator so I suppose she might be better known there since her "service" was more recent. Don't think I believe she will win New York, I'm just saying that if she does it will be more due to name recognition than anything else.

(12,041 posts)I don't quite understand why you think that 40 point lead in the Quinnipiac poll from last summer is relevant, although I guess it does show Bernie has already cut Hillary's lead in half.

(59,504 posts)Hey, from Burlington, his home town, he really can see NY. It is right there across Lake Chsmplain. Residents there look at NY very often - especially at sunset.
