And not it's producing more GOP friendly numbers than Rasmussen.

He should be scared.

But they just recently started doing national polls for Daily Kos. They are supposed to have a "bad" poll tomorrow and some are already getting concerned,

That being said the poll is already history and it was contradicted by the majority of other pollsters in the field.

I'm too old and have come too far to panic over any one poll.

Crashcart all set. Seriously, though. In my 11 years here at DU there has been one constant. Reliable as the sun coming up in the east. We Dems are not happy unless we're fucking miserable. Bunch of Eeyores is what we are. Good news posts sink like rocks. Anything bad, fear or anger inducing? Count on that post to get 25k views and 150 replies. I can understand some of the psychology involved, but jeez. DU and daily kos have to be some of the most depressing sites in the history of political sites.

And by the way. Don't anybody think that TPM and Josh Marshall, and 538 and Nate Silver, and all the other journos and bloggers supposedly on our side are REALLY on our side. Their daily tweets and posts are just as slyly concerned and worry inducing, and beholden to the horserace narrative as the MSM.

Some pollster wrote Josh Marshall over at TPM and noted that whenever his polls show Republicans losing, they want to kill him, but whenever his polls show Democrats losing they want to kill themselves.

The debate will change everything and make all polling up to now unimportant.

I'm nervous about the debate. And the polls that will follow. Not any pre-debate polls.
