I know this is an automated poll which might be considered less reliable/accurate but it does follow fairly closely the most recent PPP poll. Clearly Romney is on the rebound as most people expected. This next week will tell the tale... especially the upcoming debate.

Or, maybe Romney's slime machine did its work. It will be interesting to see if other polls confirm this.

By the way, that 20% undecided seems pretty large. I would think that it might contain people who slid from Santorum towards Romney's direction in the last few days, but if Sicky Ricky can learn to stay more on an economic message and just leave the whole cultural war thing alone for a week, he might get them back.

The debate coming up Wed could be the deciding factor.

However, stuff that makes our eyes roll back in our heads doesn't faze GOP'ers one bit, so Romney puts up the earmark crap, etc. to try to drive tea party support away.

that his super pac is has been VERY effective flooding the television with negative ads to drag down whichever upstart has a toe hold in these big states.

Sadly, I suspect with those numbers that it will go to Romney. I was pulling for you, Ricky! But with that high number of undecideds, I suspect they're all the moderates who hate Romney but will hold their noses and choose him over the rightwing wackjob at the end of the day. I think the Santorum voters are diehards and probably committed to him in the poll with great fervor. I just suspect those undecideds are going to swing to the "moderate" guy when the times comes in the primary.

like he came back in Florida. Mittens knows it is a must win for him and he's spending big time. However, if Newt got out of the race (unlikely until after Super Tuesday), then most of his voters (polls indicate) would go to Santorum.
