Yuuuuge turnout at Maine caucus site.

We arrived about fifteen minutes early. Caucus was scheduled for one o'clock. People were still being registered an hour and a half after the caucus started. The overflow had to be moved from the gym to the cafeteria. Way underestimated turnout! The yellow index cards being used to vote ran out. So, half sheets of plain white paper were used, instead. Not at all corruptible, of course.

We were going to wait for the count, but had to get home. I'll post it when we know. There was a much much longer line dropping their cards in the Bernie Box than in Hillary's. We live in a college town and many students were in the new registrants' line.

As always, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the discussions, especially with some of the younger people. One college student voted for Bernie, but hopes Hillary is the nominee. He believes that Bernie is pushing Hillary to the left and expects she will stay there. Ah, to be young, again.
