As an experiment I am going to post a positive thread about both Democratic candidates...

... and see how it goes.

Unlike the clown show of the Republican debate, tomorrow night will be a serious discussion among two serious candidates.

My friend on Facebook summed up a previous debate this way.

Clinton on the economy: "Let me agree with much of what Senator Sanders said."
Sanders on foreign policy: "Let me agree with much of what Secretary Clinton said."

In the debate Hillary said something like "I think we are in vigorous agreement."

It is not an accident they were on the same side of 92% of votes in Congress.

We are lucky have two great candidates.

Either one of them would be 1,000,000 times better than a Republican. The stakes of this election are too high.

To supporters of Bernie. If Hillary wins the nomination GOTV.
To supporters of Hillary in Bernie wins the nomination GOTV.

Wouldn't have a problem voting for either one for president. I prefer Hillary but personally think Bernie is a decent guy and his main focus of income inequality can only help, same with getting big money out of campaigns. Those are 2 issues I can support.
Unless someone isn't really a democrat, then a bunch of us are going to have to find a reason to vote for the person we were against in the GE.

I can at least feel certain that neither Democrat will bring shame on this country. They won't brag about their genitals or otherwise behave like badly-raised middle school bullies. Honestly, I don't like Hillary very much but at least I can trust her to behave like a sane, intelligent adult, and if she is elected she won't hold state dinners that look like parties at the Playboy Mansion. If she is nominated I will drag my sorry old ass to the polls and vote for her because the very idea of any of the GOPers soiling the White House fills me with dread and horror. I hope it's Bernie but it must not under any circumstances be Trump, Cruz or Rubio.

I've stuck to just lurking because I don't have the stomach or strength for all the arguing. I will vote for the Democratic nominee because there's too much at stake. I support Hillary but I believe Bernie is a good guy - we're fortunate to have 2 good candidates.
