(85,998 posts)Sanders came into the night about 200 pledged delegates behind and looking like he will leave tonight down about 200 pledged delegates.
...also, she won ALL demographics in the South.

(8,760 posts)the longer that he keeps winning primaries, the less powerful Hillary looks

(85,998 posts)Bernie wins Kansas & Nebraska. Or as Jane Sanders calls them: "those bullshit states the Dems won't win in Nov"

(85,998 posts)Sanders won 23 delegates in Kansas to Clintons 10. He won preliminarily 14 delegates in Nebraska to Clintons 11. Thats a margin of 16 delegates.
In losing Louisiana, however, Sanders only claimed 12 delegates to Clintons 39.
Combine the three states, and Clinton gained 11 delegates on Sanders.
FiveThirtyEight
"This adds to Clinton's Super Tuesday lead, and puts her at a 201-pledged delegate advantage over Bernie Sanders. That's a better lead that then-Sen. Barack Obama ever enjoyed over Hillary Clinton in 2008."

(20,043 posts)I think I'm seeing a narrative I really don't like.
It was said 'who cares that Hillary won SC etc they were red states and couldn't be won in the GE' now people are losing their shit over Bernie winning Nebraska & Kansas. Yeah. Ok.
Kansas is a red state. South Carolina is a red state. I'm hoping demographic differences don't equal different reactions. That would really be eff'd up for LIBERAL DEMOCRATS.
I thought it was good WHENEVER WE WON. Guess I missed a memo or two....
Maybe that's why some Bernie voters are willing to cross over to Trump.

(43 posts)I think you are on to something. My demographic only matters in certain states since it could mean the difference between winning and losing for a Democrat.
