Found this on Facebook. Clinton and Fracking. Posted on Bernie So. Oregon.

"Please share this urgent message far and wide! As we prepare for the crucial democratic debate in Flint Michigan on Sunday night, people need to know the true cost that a Clinton presidency would have on our environment and water supply & the massive environmental differences between the two candidates!

In 2008 Clinton ran on a greenwashing platform of ''clean coal.'' Since 2009 she used her position as Secretary of State to aggressively push fracking upon countries worldwide from the Balkans to Thailand to Botswana. She worked on behalf of corporations like Chevron, Exxon, and Halliburton to trample over widespread citizen outcry and push fracking through embassies with slick PR campaigns, that would collapse into empty promises of a better life for citizens.
Now her 2016 energy platform contains the same aggressive fracking policies hidden behind terms like ''renewable'' and ''clean natural gas.'' To be clear, natural gas is anything but green. It is actually 95% methane - a potent greenhouse gas that is 80 times more active as a heat trapping agent than CO2 over a 20 year period. Clinton's energy platform amounts to a bait-and-switch, trading 6-7% leakage rates for methane for the appearance of meeting our climate treaty obligations for carbon emissions. Even if she reduced leakage rates by her target of 40-45%, methane would still surpass coal fired power plants in its rate of accelerating climate change. And this is not even touching on the widespread contamination of our groundwater supply that is caused by fracking. Most of the chemicals used have been kept secret from the public, but we do know from EPA reports that among them are carcinogens like benzene, arsenic, 2-BE, and thallium - a toxin found in rat poison. In addition, Clinton's fracking platform would continue to dramatically exacerbate drought in western states while leading to an increase in earthquakes.
Environmentalists have called Clinton's energy policy not a bridge but a gangplank. We don't have another 8 years to wait for a true progressive environmental candidate who will heed scientists urgent warnings to end fracking now and leave fossil fuels in the ground. If you are considering a vote for Hillary Clinton, I urge you to search your heart, think about the children and grandchildren of this world, and reconsider your vote on behalf of our one and only planet. We will not get a second chance to make the right choice, and there is only one candidate who will end fracking, protect our future, and help ensure the survival of the earth we love.
Please join together to make 2016 the year we voted to reverse climate change by casting our ballots for Bernie Sanders. Thank you for listening and please share." Also there is a poster that said: (I don't know how to post it). : "January 27th Clinton attends gala fundraisier with fracking financiers, February 7th - calls water contamination in Flint immoral, February 12th releases policy to expand fracking which would accelerate climate change & contaminate nation's water supply with carcinogens, arsenic, and a chemical used in rat poison."

and not one of the people there knew jack shit about Clinton's fracking support. My mind was blown, as if both tthings happened in a vacuum, one not directly related to the other one.
