Related: About this forumWill GD-P become GD-E after a nominee is determined?
Or will General Discussion become the default home of all General Election threads? Sorry, but I don't recollect how this worked in previous years.

it'll be "General Discussion: Election" and then back to "General Discussion: Politics" after November.

(146,317 posts)11. The admins of DU appear to have some plans for that,
which include some changes. It may not be exactly like it has been in the past. I imagine we'll find out before too much time passes. I'm sure they're trying to find a good way to go with the site once a nominee is clearly known.
It won't necessarily be how it was in 2008, though. DU2 was still the site back then. I think changes will be made.
