Who gets to decide what the "right side" of history is?

I hope we can agree on that. Those on the side of the fucking banksters that gain 5 trillion dollar while millions of Americans lost their homes. They were kicked out on the street for bank profits and guess who is in with the banksters? H. Clinton has amassed millions, tens of millions from her bankster friends. They are on the wrong side of history.

I say those that put money ahead of human lives are on the wrong side of history. Call me arrogant if you must.

Hillary Clinton's is worth about $30,000,000. She's never been timid about reaching for the full earnings potential of public service. After 30 years in the same money pit of legalized bribery, Sanders isn't worth any more than some of my neighbors. Who would vote for such a looser?

amass as much money and power as she can. She supported the IWar that was responsible for the deaths of 500,000 innocent people and she only said "sorry". She doesn't deserve respect. She sides with the banksters over millions that have lost their homes, lost their jobs, and lost their retirements. She turns her back on students in debt to her banker friends. Tell me when we should respect her. How about what Black Lives Matter thinks:

“Here's the truth: the Clinton legacy has left our prisons bursting at the seams. Real lives have been destroyed as a result. It is an indisputable fact that millions of Black people were locked up for drug crimes and provided the bodies for the expansion of the prison industry.

The 1994 Crime Bill that she so vigorously defended not only expanded incarceration, but stripped funding for college education from prisoners. The Clinton legacy allowed for policies that prevented anyone convicted of a felony drug offense from receiving food stamps or income assistance. Clinton-led welfare reform fundamentally ripped apart the social safety net.”

“Make no mistake, Hillary Clinton's efforts to push these policies resulted in the continued destruction of Black communities and the swift growth of our mass incarceration crisis.”

Explain to me why you think she deserves respect? She is an enemy of the 99%.

I would like someone to explain how I could respect a woman whose husband cheated on her repeatedly and she didn't kick him to the curb?

How I could respect a woman that laughed about killing a leader who was sodomized with a knife.

My mind is not that mixed up that I can view any of those things as noble, valiant or even justifiable.

Sun Mar 6, 2016, 01:18 AM
Mar 2016

If you mean that when speaking to current Hillary supporters we will be more likely successful if we try to be respectful, then I agree. But #46 is right that Hillary's actions and her as a politicians deserve no respect -- they outlined it very well with many points not least among them the killing of over a half million innocents when it was obvious, just obvious that the Iraq war was sold on lies...And she didn't learn from that "mistake" (it was cynical calculation, not mistake, but even pretending it was) she pushed very similar in Libya and gave us ISIS stronghold and failed state and Hillary is to the right of Trump on Syria because she wants to do it a third time

so #46 is right that Hillary doesn't deserve respect in that sense..but YOU HelenWheels are right if you mean in speaking with Hillary supporters we have to A) be respectful of the currenet HRC supporters and B) start slow and easy in speaking about Hillary's policies...don't jump into "mass-murderer of women and children" in the first sentence even though it's true about Hillary..but give information, express deep, deep moral and political concerns about motivation and actions and judgement and corruption...

and if/when ready, ramp up to stronger language - not personal attacks, but "Stronger" meaning, the "mass murder" part...

but is #46 (sorry can't press "back" on browser to find his/her name) see where you're right and you where they are right? I hope we can "bridge" this divide amongst us Bernie fans at least...

Whatever one thinks of his ability to connect with enough voters, or quickly enough to win a primary and general, the central theme of his campaign can only be: look what a politician can stand for when not persuaded otherwise by enormous sums of private, even secret, money.

Whatever Clinton's gifts, inertia/momentum, big donors and contacts can win her, she is unable to be her own person, and hasn't been able to be for a long time.
