(17 posts)Can't imagine that Romney's "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" editorial last year went over too well with my fellow buckeyes!

(5,693 posts)I said yesterday that Romney has not led in a single Ohio poll (as far as I know), and today's tracking polls show his momentum stalled and reversing, so he probably won't get a lead in Ohio at all.

(4,507 posts)the more I've thought about it, the more understand the why and the how of how Obama damaged himself in the first debate, but I will not discuss those particular thoughts except by PM.
We're very lucky if this thing can still stabilize and be turned. Very lucky and it would be very good.

(17 posts)I really don't think President Obama ever thought Romney could come back. I think he was counting on Romney to put his foot in his mouth (which he didn't). Why the president never brought up the "47%" comment or Romney's flip flopping on his tax cut remarks is beyond me.
Tuesday should be better.

(4,507 posts)I'm talking about just how badly he damaged himself and how real the damage was.
Fortunately, the opponent is someone who has baggage that isn't just baggage - it's stuff that should make him very unelectable to crucial demographics and certain geographic regions of this country.

(413 posts)My guess is O was +1 Fri. and +7 ("a lot stronger" Sat. with a combined lead of +4.
We'll find out soon enough. They should also have information on early voters as well.
