Stop Using Real Clear Politics

It is practically the RNC's poll aggregator. They are doing everything they can to inflate Romney's average, like not including polls that show Obama is ahead. And yes, we have had those this week. I see people here often referencing the RCP averages and even pull up their trend lines.

Fuck RCP. Use this instead.

Up until this week, even though their editorial content may have leaned right, they were fairly objective including all the polls, whether they were good or bad for one guy or the other.

Now I'm noticing the Romney polls clumped close to the top, with the Obama polls down below.

PLUS, there are several polls which are just outright missing. And they're not just Obama polls, but other Democrats as well.

Example 1: Earlier this week one of the polls showing Elizabeth Warren ahead in MA was not posted on RCP.

Example 2: The High Point poll showing Obama 46-45 in NC was not posted, even though RCP has previously posted High Point polls (you can find older ones on the NC page)

Example 3: Today's Rocky Mountain AZ poll showing Obama & Carmona ahead, is also missing.

5. I don't necessarily expect to see it there

As I said above, the NC High Point poll is also missing.

One of the polls showing Warren ahead in MA is also missing too.

I think they are deliberately ignoring some of these polls.

If that is what you are referring to.

I think they are getting better, but I am still skeptical as well.
