Santorum: Obama is CULLING the Disabled through Abortion

I think news outlets have buried the lead in this latest Santorum outrage. Read this carefully, from Santorum's speech:

"One of the things that you don't know about ObamaCare in one of the mandates is they require free prenatal testing," Santorum began telling about 400 people here. "Why? Because free prenatal testing ends up in more abortions and, therefore, less care that has to be done, because we cull the ranks of the disabled in our society. That too is part of ObamaCare -- another hidden message as to what president Obama thinks of those who are less able than the elites who want to govern our country."

This is not just a dog whistle to the ears of the conspiracy theorists who are waiting for Death Panels and Death Camps to open. This is just in your face, here it is... Obamacare is CULLING the disabled.

Everyone is focusing on the 'not a Christian' statement.. but this is the real kicker. This is what we need to focus on.

This guy is dangerous. Truly. Dangerous.

He just assumes each individual with a disabled child will abort just because it's available. He doesn't even get the "choice" concept. He thinks it is decreed one way or the other.

...that allowing a "disabled" baby to be born creates a "burden on society" most people would rather abort than face social stigma.

I know I'm be flamed for saying that, but I am personally terrified of social pressures derived from disabled people being considered "burdens on society".

By slashing every last bit of the social safety net to tatters.

Because, you know, pre-natal testing is apparently evil, but there's apparently nothing wrong with letting someone freeze to death under an overpass because every possible type of government aid has been eliminated under some bizarro world Ayn Rand fantasy scenario of "right and wrong".

Along those lines, if they do end programs etc, some of us should go on hunger strikes etc. America should see those it doesnt care to save on public tele. We should suffer and wither before their eyes. how about a REAL reality show?

almost like he's whispering secrets to each and everyone in the room. The more followers he gets, the worse he will get. He is living in a fantasy world of his own making and needs counseling. He is sick or evil. I haven't decided which.

Perhaps he should get off the campaign trail and become an evangelist. He'll make a lot more money and only his true followers/believers need follow him.

Inside the catholic church and the vatican it is known that proest who often rape nuns and get them pregnant demand that the nuns have abortions to cover up the priests sin. if the catholic church is going to point out the mote in Obamas eye they should first remove the beam from their own eye.

And I'll admit, that my own fear of Eugenics had put me at odds with some "choice absolutists". We need to be really careful about the intersection of abortion and pre-natal testing lest the specter of Eugenics raises it's ugly head.
