CNN is claiming that Hillary has 1055 delegates and Bernie has 418 delegates.
Which is way overinflated compared to the NY Times:
Hillary: 544
Bernie: 349
Seems that CNN is trying to make Hillary look as inevitable as possible.

(14,255 posts)He is really looking forward to casting his first vote ever next week, here in Florida. Early voting. Hopefully Bill won't show up with a bullhorn. Because I would be rude.
Grandson will be voting for Bernie.
He told me yesterday that if Hillary already has the nomination sewn up, he will not bother with the GE, because he will not vote for someone who may relish sending him to war, who champions the TPP (yes, the millennials talk about that at work!), who is fine with the crushing college costs.
This is the DNC's fault, this is the DNC's problem. And why is it okay for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to not support Democrats, to campaign for them, to refuse to support Democrats - but the rest of us must bow to the letter "D"? Those days are over, methinks.
Oh, and I explained to him that the delegates thing is total in-the-bag bullshit, and that he really should never take the $MSM at it word. Eye-opening, this is!

(18,133 posts)I and 3/4 of the electorate expect to have our votes counted before we start considering super delegates. If they want to reverse the will of the voters, well then we'll see how that works out.
There are 4,051 total pledged delegates in the primary.
Clinton has 633 pledged delegates so far or 15.6% of the total.
Sander has 414 pledged delegates so far 10.2% or of the total.
With 74.2% of the pledged delegates remaining.
