Careful what you wish for: like we were thinking what a BREAK if Trump tore up the repugs party like Bill Clinton did to the Dems. I mean, poetic justice, right? Not so much. Looks like the result will be-- no one viable to run against her

as well as 4,051 pledged delegates, and this article suggests that the will of the people will be overturned by them?

This was written several weeks ago, after only 2 primaries had been held. There have been 2 more since then, and 13 tomorrow. A slew more on March 15.

The "will of the people" will not be overturned. If Bernie Sanders achieves more pledged delegates, the superdelegates will move. But that is very unlikely to happen if the current trends continue. That said, I hope that the Intercept (and we know who runs that, a bunch of libertarians) will accept the will of the people if the people decide they want Hillary Clinton. I know they won't support her. But then they'll just have to sit this one out, unless they want President Trump. And perhaps they do.
