Tomorrow in Texas...

I am going to the poll.
I have decided.
I am voting for Bernie.
My 71-year-old father is voting for Bernie.
His equally aged (a woman never tells) girlfriend is voting for Bernie. It will be the first time she has ever voted with the Democratic party. It will be the first time she ever votes for a Democratic candidate in the GE.
...and then I will come home.

In November, I will vote for the nominee. I hope it will be Bernie, but whatever. The Democratic party lost my enthusiastic financial and foot-powered support back in February of 2004.

I don't care if you don't care.
I don't care if Texas doesn't matter. It matters to me.
I don't care if you use your reply to stay just this side of the TOS. It's a done deal.
I am not going to participate in any of the candidate bashing nonsense that is this forum going forward. In fact, I might spend the latter half of this afternoon placing the more vocal of both sides' less-than-respectful supporters on ignore until the inauguration.

I'll do it anyway because that's what Democratic voters do. They vote. My conscience in the Primary. My party (no matter how distasteful I find it) in the General.

Have a wonderful day DU.

I've begun the purging of my DU of the most vocal, and it really does make a difference. The thoughtful discussions between level-headed supporters begin to emerge out of the muck.

Condolences for that Senator you have down there. I have Al Franken, and I still laugh about it, although I like him.

You should see his campaign ads down here. They are insane.
