Is it typical for a County Committee to endorse a primary candidate?

As chair of my town's Democratic party, I don't endorse the same candidate as our County committee has. All district leaders in the County will be running on the same line as Hillary Clinton. I support Sanders. In the light of the recent resignation of Gabbard, is it better that I step down from my local leadership position? I have already had feedback from some of my district leaders that they will not run because of this.

Depends on the State Party. Some State Committees endorse as well. brooklynite Feb 2016 #2

Or stand my ground by being on the ballot on Hillary's line.
There is no option for being on the ballot on Bernie's line for County Committee.
I could run as a write in as protest, but I hardly think that they'll get the message.
