So this is what it's come down to.

The new "hard sell" being used by Clinton supports goes as follows:

1) A handful of moderate republicans will hold their nose and vote for Hillary during the nomination come November; all five of them. *With the proviso of Trump being the eventual nominee.

2) The establishment GOP will abandon Trump during the election cause they don't trust his motives.

Boy if that doesn't win the hearts and minds of people everywhere I don't know what will.

"Hey! Vote for our candidate cause their insiders would rather work with her to cut programs than Trump! Oh, and his party don't like him cause they're having a petty intramural pissing contest"... *Sigh* When exactly did we set the bar this low, cause I missed the meeting.

Expecting any of them to cross over, even against Trump is laughable.

What will happen is we'll be stuck with a lot of disinterested and disheartened democrats(think John Kerry x10), and we'll lose all independents. That is not a path to victory.

But its just them trying to kill Bernie's chances early, because the longer he stays in it and keeps his momentum, the better his chances of winning. Most of the south going to be done soon, and the rest favors him. Plus his polls go up every day, so by the time we hit California, he'll have a good chance to take a lot of delegates there.

Bernie has to stay in until the convention...or we're fucked.

Even in the Democratic party she gets no enthusiasm. But there are so many people who would be motivated to vote against her.

My mother voted republican her whole life but hates both Hillary and Trump. She has already stated she'd vote for Bernie if he got the nomination. But put Hillary against Trump, and she'll go for Trump. Just because she hates her that much.

He typically gets 25 percent of Republican votes in Vermont during his elections there. When some Republicans were asked why they vote for him, they say while they do not agree with everything he stands for, he always tell them the truth, which is a very rare commodity in politicians. Additionally, there are groups of Republicans for Bernie around and they are not ashamed to broadcast it.
