GG: How can Dems object to Scalia taking trips from corps w/cases before the court?

This is why I can't support Hillary in primary or general. I fundamentally believe the system is corrupt, and without first addressing this, nothing can be accomplished that would be of benefit to the general public. In this regard the Clinton's are as bad if not worse than the GOP.

With Hillary, we have no standing to complain about the Kochs or Adelson because we have determined that taking money does not mean you are going to give anything in return. That leg we have stood on for years is effectively cut out from under us.

it would have been a richly deserved blot on his record. As it is, he will go down in history as some legal genius originalist with unique abilities to channel the thoughts of everyone in attendance at the original Constitutional Convention and everyone who voted to ratify it.

Too late now to do what should have been done as to Scalia, but not too late as to Thomas.

Doing nothing about corruption and saying very little are probably two effective ways to make sure it not only continues, but increases.

people who are unable to figure out something so basic as who is fighting what. I'll go further, it is that kind of foolishness, being easily deceived and manipulated, that enables corruption to flourish in the first place.

It is my firm opinion that if people saying the things you do finally end up with a better nation it will be because others give it to you.
