Let's keep things in perspective. Today is only the 2nd Primary. Bernie won the 1st one by 21pts

If Hillary wins today all that will mean is -

Bernie won the first primary, Hillary won the 2nd primary.
The msm seems to neglect that point.

I don't have a crystal ball & don't know what is going to happen on Super Tuesday.

This thread is not about next week, it is about today. Just trying to inject some facts into today.

(thanks to DUer virtualobserver for bringing this up in another thread)

This is no game. It's life and death. Literally. If we're ever going to reclaim our Democracy now is the time so I'm busy campaigning as hard as I can. And, after Super Tuesday, there are still 36 states left, including California.

I am busy today so I won't be here for much of the gloating that Hillary supporters will be doing. I will be watching the primary results though. I still find it very exciting because in every state so far he has narrowed the gap more than expected. Even if he doesn't win today I am excited to see if he narrows the gap.

Go Bernie!

California by itself has half the delegates up-for-grabs on Super Tuesday. And CA won't vote until June.

it experimented with that, and that was the STATE, not the parties in those two cycles.

It is prohibitively expensive, why the state went back to the more traditional June schedule

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

"You people" is rude and divisive. This poster himself has said that it's an insult, so it's bizarre to see him use it. Let's keep both sides civil and accountable and hide this rude post.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sat Feb 27, 2016, 04:08 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: not worthy of a hide
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: over-the-top
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE

Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Pissing on parades might get you in trouble.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Out of line snark.

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

Dear Jury,

"You people" was in reference to the type of people that would have a knee jerk reaction of negativity when watching others try and pull themselves together. You see, in this OP, nobody is slamming Hillary for her inevitable win tonight. This thread is merely an acknowledgement of reality and it keeps things in perspective for those who support Bernie.

It's a positive thread. And people like the one I referred to clearly don't have a beneficial reason to be involved in it.

Sincerely,
retrowire

Look if this is what you need to keep your side's spirits up, please proceed. Sanders folks have been happy to post about future polls when it supported their candidate. Every indication is that tonight and Tuesday night are going to be blowouts. If you believe otherwise, put us in our place by letting us know which States Sanders will win that aren't already assumed?

I am from NH, it was never in doubt, but now we're on to the rest of the country, so get back to us when Sanders wins a state outside his comfort zone.
