Today doesn't change anything

But change is coming. No matter the outcome in South Carolina. Friends who desire the necessary changes we must make as a society - take heart - better days are coming. To those of you protecting the status quo against your own self interests and against the interests of the people, and the planet, may you soon see the light of truth and wake up.

IF she wins I hope all of her supporters are willing to sacrifice their children for her wars and I don't want to hear feminists whining and complaining when she is unable to stop Republicans from shuttering more women's health centers. I don't want to hear her people fussing when their health insurance and prescription drug prices continue to climb astronomically. I don't want to hear her Senior supporters wail about cuts to their Social Security or raising the retirement age. And I won't listen to young single mother supporters cry because they can't make enough money to pay the rent because she does nothing to increase the minimum wage.

Do you hear Hillary supporters? She's going to leave you dangling in the wind and I don't want to hear a word about it when it happens.

3. I agree. 2 years; 4 years. The establishment era is fading into obscurity.

Greed isn't going away, but one benefit of increased world population is a bigger world "mind".

that are pushing this bullshit. There are 46 more states to go after that so some people need to chill out.

9. The only time you should give up on a dream is when it's clear you've lost.

Otherwise you're simply doing this:

And why give up? We need to do all we can to push Clinton further to the left. Unless that's the point at which you give up, which means, IMO, you were never dedicated in the first place.

10. If your dream it to win, then you give up when you've lost but if your dream is to instigate change

on many levels in in many realms any single defeat is just a blip, a moment in a long list of moments. The people who say 'give up on dreams' are always wrong. Change tactics, not objectives.

The entire 'be pragmatic and dream less' element of this Party has been demonstrated to be in the wrong again and again in recent years 'accept civil unions, that's the best we can do for generations' and 'pot will always be a felony no matter what' and 'America is not yet ready to elect a black President'....it goes on and on 'half a loaf' they say 'please be grateful for half a loaf, do not dream of the whole loaf'.

We are the music-makers. And we are the dreamers of dreams.

Giving up should never be an option unless the dream is to see Sanders -and only Sanders- in the White House. But if the dream is larger than one man or woman then yes, I agree, never, ever give up.

7. You mean those who don't believe your candidate can win. Way to influence hearts and minds.

Any Democratic President brings with him/her hundreds of aides and supporters. Change will come with Clinton. It won't be as in-your-face as you would like but that's politics.

8. Well, it's the start of the Dem party turning back extremism
Sat Feb 27, 2016, 12:13 PM

Something the GOP should have done 8 years ago.

The worst thing Dems could do is embrace the same kind of extremism the right has embraced. All that will happen is more gridlock until we have a completely non-functioning government.

If you want real change then stop blaming Democrats. Help turn your state legislatures blue by 2020 so we can get rid of gerrymandering. Remember that in the last congressional election almost 1.2 million more people voted for Dems than cons. But we didn't pick up seats due to gerrymandering.

I know presidential elections are more exciting, but if you really want change that's what you've got to do.

None of them would consider Bernie Sanders to be extreme nor would any of them be electable here with that sort of ultra conservative and regressive language you use. We don't do politics that way, which might be why we have Democratic control of the Statehouse and such. Hillary lost here last time to Barack and just fyi it was the negativity that did her in. People can't stand that here. It did her in, but it also ended the popularity of a few of her critics that were overly nasty. Yes, this is a place where people will say 'She's not my candidate but I don't like hearing anyone called vermin, not even Republicans' and then never vote for the person who said vermin, or who called progressives 'extremists' ever ever again.

Where are you? Why is your Statehouse Red? What are you doing so wrong?

He's giving the US a chance to pull back from the brink of a complete corporate take-down
of our democracy.

But the Hillarians are having none of it. They WANT a corporate-owned faux-democracy.
Either that or they are stupid, and I don't think that's generally the case.
